Project No: 2012-1-HU1-LEO04-06860 3
Promotor: Artemisszió Foundation
Project Dates: 01/09/2012 - 30/09/2014,
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Project Overview

The aim of the project is to raise the quality of the mobility processes in Vocational Education and Training (VET) mobility programs with the focus on integrating new cultural and professional learning into existing body of knowledge, so that VET participants’ skills would be more adjusted to the labour market. For this purpose, we map the mobility process from the point of view of the Mobility Counsellor – the professional who is guiding people through mobility.

The final aim is to ensure that VET mobility becomes a real learning process and students get the best out of their experiences during mobility programs. We aim to support VET students by developing a portfolio for the Mobility counsellor, which includes the main skills, competencies, knowledge and possible resources.

Expected outcomes

  • Collection of good practices
  • Collection of resources and tools
  • Exploratory research on obstacles and promotional factors of mobility
  • Job profile for a Mobility Counsellor – description of the necessary knowledge, competences and tasks of a professional who is capable of promoting, preparing, accompanying, integrating abroad and reintegrating home participants in mobility.

The partnership consists of five international partners:
